TMS’ ‘Truck or treat’ celebrates Halloween, racing

Texas Motor Speedway is always looking at new ways to engage fans and be one of the more family-friendly sports venues in Dallas-Fort Worth.

So it’s no surprise they are taking full advantage of having a race weekend fall on Halloween. And, of course, making sure families know that their children can still have the thrill of trick-or-treating should they opt to head to the track.

The speedway will be providing the treats during a “Truck or Treat” event to celebrate the holiday and the running of the WinStar World Casino & Resort 350 on Friday night.

The free event will be from 4-7 p.m. in the Midway between gates 3 and 5. Trick-or-treaters will be able to visit stations to receive candy, stickers, key chains and more.
