hCheers: To the three African-American families who stood their ground to protect their land in Grapevine. Cheers to the city of a Grapevine for doing the right thing and standing with them. Jeers to the builder who wanted their land for development.
— Del Gabaldon, Grapevine
iJeers: To the Arlington City Council for passing the $25 surrender fee for shelters. This will create animal dumping. Sadly, owners will keep their pets in poor conditions or let them roam the streets. Animals are surrendered because of financial reasons and shelters are the animals only hope for a better life.
— Kristy Swindell, Grand Prairie
hCheers: To Manager Vince Davis and his outstanding staff at Bite City Grill. My wife Patricia and I hosted a small dinner in the private dining room for family and friends to celebrate our wedding earlier that day. Everything was perfect — the food, wine, service, decoration and ambiance. Our guests were also highly impressed.
