Cheers & Jeers

Cheers & Jeers

hCheers: To the Keller Fire Department and EMS for taking great care of my mom after she fell in the Kroger parking lot Sept. 7, and for tracking me down. Also to those who called 911 and stayed with her, and to the staff at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth trauma center.

— Lisa Davis,

North Richland Hills

iJeers: To the the Oakwood Lane branch post office in Arlington for telling me the only way to get a passport was to go online. After several attempts to secure a passport online, I looked in the Fort Worth phone book and called the passport office. They said a passport office is located at the subcourthouse on West Abram Street.

— Larry Minor, Arlington

hCheers: To “a friend” who paid for our lunch at Esperanza’s Bakery & Cafe on Park Place on Sunday. This act of thoughtfulness is such a kindness; very much appreciated. God bless.

— Judy Stewart, Weatherford
