No crystal ball
How can Vicki Burris, the FWISD employee leading the district’s capital improvement program, declare that a crystal ball would have been needed to anticipate a price tag of $2 million to $3 million over the budget for a new Washington Heights Elementary School?
Surely a crystal ball is not required to figure out that increasing the size of the design for the school would lead to increased costs.
It’s almost spooky to imagine that Burris might be needing magic to do her job!
