Two-way street

It has been proven through the ages that a people can’t legislate morality — but sadly, there are many who are trying their best to legislate immorality these days.

The mayor and city attorneys of Houston seem to have forgotten that separation of church and state is a two-way street. (See: “Houston won’t use subpoenas to seek sermons from five pastors,” Oct. 18)

Some things are just wrong and there are no laws or statutes that can change that fact.
